About Me

Rob Kranz

Rob has been teaching the Bible for more than 30 years.

In 2018 he decided to leave a successful career as a software executive to study the Bible. His first stop was Israel, where he earned a Graduate Certificate in Biblical History and Geography from Jerusalem University College. Rob then completed his MA in Old Testament at Abilene Christian University and a Master of Theology (ThM) at Southern Methodist University’s Perkins School of Theology with a concentration in the Biblical Witness. Currently, Rob is a Ph.D. student in SMU’s Graduate Program of Religious Studies concentrating in Hebrew Bible.

Helping people see the Bible come to life in its original context is Rob’s passion. He is excited to share the Land of the Bible to ignite that passion in others to help them live more fully into God’s calling for their lives.

Rob has been married to his wife, Amy, for 34 years. They have two adult sons and live in Dallas, TX.
